真核細胞染細菌體的主要成分也是DNA。DNA與細胞的遺傳和代謝
關(guān)系十分緊密。
關(guān)于細胞核起源的學(xué)說主要有:共營模型、自演化模型、病毒性
真核生物起源模型、外膜假說、壓縮和結(jié)構(gòu)化假說,等等。共營
模型(syntrophic model)認為,古菌與細菌共生導(dǎo)致了含細胞
核的真核細胞的誕生,但是,古菌與細菌均無細胞核(Hogan
2010)。共營模型認為,與現(xiàn)代產(chǎn)甲烷古菌類似的某些古老的古
菌,侵入并生活在類似于現(xiàn)代粘細菌的細菌體內(nèi),形成了早期的
細胞核。古菌與真核生物在特定蛋白質(zhì)(如組蛋白)基因的相似
性被認為是支持以古菌為基礎(chǔ)的細胞核起源理論的證據(jù)。但共營
模型并不能回答核是如何產(chǎn)生的問題。
自演化模型(autogenous model)認為原真核(proto-
eukaryotic)細胞直接自細菌演化而來,需要通過內(nèi)共生。證據(jù)
來自一類專性好氧菌——浮霉菌(Planctomycete),它們具有
清晰的胞內(nèi)膜結(jié)構(gòu),其中,有一種稱之為Gemmata
obscuriglobus的出芽菌,其染細菌質(zhì)被雙層的核膜所包裹,類
似于真核生物的核的結(jié)構(gòu),而斯氏小梨形菌(Pirellula
staleyi)的核被單層的細胞質(zhì)內(nèi)膜ICM所包裹(Fuerst 2005)

病毒性真核生物起源模型(viral eukaryogenesis model)認
