壓電式加速度傳感器,又稱振動傳感器,是基于壓電晶體的壓電效應(yīng)工作的。某些晶體在一定方向上受力變形時,其內(nèi)部會產(chǎn)生極化現(xiàn)象,同時在它的兩個表面上產(chǎn)生符號相反的電荷;當(dāng)外力去除后,又重新恢復(fù)到不帶電狀態(tài),這種現(xiàn)象稱為“壓電效應(yīng)",具有“壓電效應(yīng)"的晶體稱為壓電晶體。常用的壓電晶體有石英、壓電陶瓷等,在現(xiàn)代生產(chǎn)生活中被應(yīng)用于許許多多的方面,如手提電腦的硬盤抗摔保護(hù),目前用的數(shù)碼相機(jī)和攝像機(jī)里,也有加速度傳感器,用來檢測拍攝時候的手部的振動,并根據(jù)這些振動,自動調(diào)節(jié)相機(jī)的聚焦。壓電加速度傳感器還應(yīng)用于汽車安全氣囊、防抱死系統(tǒng)、牽引控制系統(tǒng)等安全性能方面。
美國Dytran的5335是一個混合振動監(jiān)測系統(tǒng),由加速度傳感器,放大器和2線(IEPE)電源單元組成,工作溫度高達(dá)482℃。
The Dytran 5335 is a high temperature hybrid vibration monitoring system, consisting of a paired differential charge mode accelerometer and in-line miniature differential charge amplifier, operating from a constant current 2-wire (IEPE) power unit, and permanently joined together as a single unit with interconnecting hardline cable.
The unique configuration of the Dytran model 5335 is known as a hybrid system because it combines both IEPE and charge mode piezoelectric technologies into a single operating unit. The accelerometer is connected to the input of the charge amplifier via an 18-inch long hardline cable (SiO2) insulated which then connects to a soft-line Teflon™ insulated cable assembly. The hardline cable assembly is unaffected by high temperatures at the point of measurement.
The model 5335 features a case isolated design to avoid EMI/ground loop interference, with hermetic sealing for reliable operation in high humidity and dirty environments. It has an industry standard tri-bolt mount, stainless steel construction, and utilizes ultra high temperature piezoelectric crystals in compression mode for extremely stable operation in temperatures up to +900°F (+482°C).
